The nearby computer shop is offering me £108 for my 9800 PRO. So it's time for an all change to a A64 system. I'd like to spend about the same amount of money and seeing I'm not playing nearly as many games as I ought to be, I might as well replace it with a 6600GT.

Unfortunately I live in the UK and so I don't have too many options for a 6600GT. It must be SLI capable just in case...

Inno3D 6600GT (With 1.6ns memory) £104

Gigabyte 6600GT (2ns) £108

Leadtek 6600GT (2ns) £115

I like the Inno3D for having 1.6ns memory, although it doesn't always seem to clock higher.

Does anyone have the Inno3D / Gigabyte card in particular? Comments appreciated.

These are pretty much my only choices within my price range.

Why doesn't the 1.6ns memory help the inno3d? It seems to oc to 1160-1200 (at best), with the Leadtek doing 1160 consistently with inferior 2ns memory. Surely the 6600gt PCB can handle memory at its rated 1.25GHz???

Inno 3d is not name brand. The leadtek is about the best company out there for video cards. They always OC excellently, and stray far away from reference design.

Also i would look at the MSI 6600GT. MSI (although they had some cheap capacitor issues at one point) are usually right up there with Leadtek and Asus.

all i know is ledtek, bfg=GOOD COMPANIES
not so sure about inno3d. the 1.6ns memory is accordung to my math(correct me if im wrong)what, ~1200mhz?
that would help performance a lot seeing that the 6600gt is memory limited somewhat.
