hi,

I am planning to build a pc for my friend.

I thought of making use of this oppurtunity to build a great PC.

I am looking for a pc case with following features.

1. PSU unit at the bottom.

2. No side panel fan or holes - see through window is ok.

3. 120 MM Front Side Fan with filter.

4. 120 MM or 80 MM back side fan.

5. 120 MM top fan

Bigger case is preferable , does n't have to be light, heavy is ok. No need aluminium. This is R&D case mainly to test air flow.

Also please list your top 5 Cases under 200 bucks. Also looking for cheap vanilla Tower case(so i can mod them with these features) . Bigger area will have better cooling.

MY current pc cpu temp is 37C and motherboard temp is 52C. (c2d e4300)

thanks
Alexk

Pardon the 900 has a side hole, but the p180 v1.1 P192 also other various antec cases in those series (p182 ect at el) should work newegg has good picture of the various units.

 Are you referring to a side fan that's near the front? Cause most of the side fans are at the CPU area.

Top blowholes aren't very effective. I think the original Coolermaster Stacker (STC-T01) meets your other criteria except for filters which can easily be added. And any side holes can easily be blocked if not needed. Silverstone SST-TJ05 doesn't have bottom PSU (what's so important about that anyway? You can isolate the PSU airflow in just about any case if you really want to). Chenbro SR10568 or SR10569 (from eWiz.com) - not bottom PSU. The Antec nine hundred is interesting - good everyday price at Provantage.com - the side vent can be blocked.
. And, if you don't mind paying a lot less and don't really NEED the PSU on the bottom, the Rosewill R5601/5604 are nice cases - see my rosewill thread. I blocked my side vent with a sheet of Saran Wrap...
. Another few to check are the Aerocool Masstige/Coolview/Zero Degree (all variants on the same case).

You're not likely to find many cases that meet all your criteria.

No. If you look, he said "Front side" and "back side" meaning he's looking at the case as having 4 sides, front and back being two, and then two sides. He's looking for a case with a front intake, and a top and rear exhaust.

I would second the Antec P180/2.

ok i see p182 has most of my features (149 bucks). So now my second question is any cheap case that has all the above feature or close to it? Rosewill cases sucks!.

Fronst side fan with filter is a must , side went can be closed so ..if it has side went is there it is ok.

PSU at bottom is preferable.

BIG case is better for heat dispersion and dissipation.

Thanks

P182 is very expensive. It costs 139+tax without a PSU

I need a case with PSU in the bottom. And cheaper.

Let me know today. Give me few options.

top blowholes are proven to not do much for ATX case's in terms of good airflow.

and u should stick with 120mm fans as less and less people are using 80mm fans these days.

and u should get something without a door that blocks airflow

I agree that most Rosewill cases suck, just not the ones I discussed in the thread I linked which are very good for the money (mostly 5-egg rated by good numbers of buyers). And I'll mention the Aerocool cases again - I have a Coolview for sale, just click the link in my sig.
