Hi...Its terrible living in the bottom of the world however I have a beautiful Viewsonic VX2640W monitor purchased as Faulty..On inspection I discovered that the Control board/OSD is broken in half ?? So how to get a new OSD....?? well in the service manual it shows a picture of the OSD and its a BenQ control board ..the broken one in the monitor is not a Ben Q ...
So how do I get a new board?? well I have contacted both Viewsonic and Ben Q and so far had no luck .....I just wonder when I get photos attached if somebody could offer me any advice on a way out here....Thanks Ron NZ...

Well I have used Photobucket previously but getting old I forget what to do so here are 3 photos....http://s1172.photobucket.com/user/hairykiore/library/?view=recent&page=1

The problem is there is a whole lot of previous photos there that should be deleted but I do not know how to clear them ...So the first 3 photos depict the broken end still attached to the 7pin ribbon cable that goes from the OSD to the video board then the page from the service manual showing a Ben Q OSD and the 3rd photo shows the original OSD (broken). ...Hope I have done this correctly ..Thanks
