There are theese 2 dogs that keep coming back to my property. I want to get rid off them but I dont want to shoot them with any of my guns. In other words I dont want to kill them. I know they have owners because sometimes I see them with dog collars other times they dont have them on and other times they may have flea collars. My house is in the middle of ten acress and I dont have any inmetiate neighbours. I figure if I shoot the dogs with the paintball gun when they run back home the owners may understand that the dogs have maybe been bothering someone.

So, I need a paintball gun. But I dont need one of those with "rapid fire." Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Seems like alot of expense to go through just to pop a couple of dogs. Get a slingshot.

Catch them, read the tags, yell at the owner for giving them free reign.

I heard of this ancent technique developed thousands of years ago to ward of animals. It has something to do with a rock and some type of throwing motion but I am not quite sure.

I have a copy of Sun Tzu's art of war at home I will see if it makes mention if it.

Can I use a slingshot with the paintballs? Maybe?

yes, but that would get paint on the animal

.

You have NO idea how many times I've tried that. The sad thing is they are small dogs. And next to my 2 great danes they look even smaller. I've hit my own dogs a time of two with that process. They are a bigger targets.

Thats what I want. I want the dogs to go home (where ever the fck home is) and show the owners that they've been shot with a paintball gun.

Whats hard to understand? It is a regular shotgun load, but instead of lead or steel shot there is rock salt. Big time hurt. I make a few of them here and there, but you might be able to buy them somewhere.

How about being a man and finding out what the collars say and then find out the owners and let them know?

Also you can call animal control when they have their collars on and they can handle it.

Sniping a dog with a paintgun can still cause permanent injury/death to it.

Thats a bad a$$ looking paintball gun! The $600 price tag is on the cost prohibited side. I think I may just soot the dogs with a bb gun as someone else suggested. It may not leave a paint mark on the animal. But hopefully they'll remember the pain and wont comback to my property for more.

Last I checked posting that you are going to break the law is against the forum rules, Comprende?

Call the police...they would be the animal control in your case. If you don't have animal control, then you should know the laws of where you decided to live.

that isn't true where i live either
it is a VERY rural county, my wife tried to call someone in regard to a lost orphaned baby skunk and found out there is no animal control in the county. none. zero. zilch. the closest thing is the state wildlife/conservation people, she called and left a message with them and they ignored her. the sheriff doesn't do animal control either
