I need a news M/B for a 1.4 T-bird...Suggestions?

Well, friend FINALLY got his ECS K7S5A working, and it seems there are tons of people who love the board...and TONS still watiing to RMA it. My overclocking days are over, but still want a nice board that is rock solid...my Abit KA-7 is about to die, so want one right now.


I have 2 sticks of PC2100 here on ice...getting a new ENERMAX EG365P-VE(FC). 350W Power supply...a 1.4 T-Bird...proably the Dragon 3 Orb to cool the bad boy...


Any suggestions? I would like one for under $150, of course...3-4 DDR slots would be great (ECS only has 2)... don't need all the overclocking ability, but like to have a board that allows for future upgrades...1.4 is the last T-bird, right? So I would like a board that allows me to pop in the new Pal. AMD chips coming out.

I looked at the Epox...think it has been listed @ $115.00, right? ...just about the price I want to pay, so it's high on the list

As for the Abit, I liked my KA-7, but I am guessing that their new board will be upwards of ~$160.00 at least....think so?
