I need a new PSU. My HX620 is not enough.

Well the power supply is great, but I have a phase change unit that has a temp gauge. Well I started up speed fan and i don't have 12v's I only have 11.40v's. I used a cisco power supply from a router and the temp gauge works perfect.

So anyone know of a great psu that is modular that puts out exactly 12v or more.

Hey! No system draws over 250 watts, we have ppl here that swear an Acer 300W unit is all anyone ever needs. 😀

Ultra offers very good SevenTeam built 800 and 1000W units. The Enermax Infinity or Galaxy 1000watter is good. Look up jonny's review of it. Look at the PCP&C big boy too.

Note: Having to have a modular interface and/or a 120mm fan will limit your choices. An 80mm cross-flow cooled unit w/o a modular interface leaves alot more room for effective heatsinks(more surface area), better cooled caps / diodes and a unit that might be quite a bit shorter for an easyer fitting to the case at hand.

I am just going to use the cisco power supply. Making a mount for it to fit in a 5.25" bay.

Never rely on software voltage readings. Please hook up a DMM to test the actual voltage on the 3 main rails.
