I need a new printer! Recommendations?

My old HP Deskjet 660C printer, which I have had for 7 years now, is really starting to show its age. It often fails to load paper, it makes loud knocking sounds while printing, it screws up colors, and ink cartridges are becoming harder to find. I've decided that I'm going to get a new one.

Here's what I'm looking for:

1. It shouldn't be too expensive. My budget is $125.
2. It should be fairly good. Decent speed, good image quality, reliable paper feeding mechanism, and so on.
3. Ink/toner refills should not be prohibitively expensive and hard to find.
4. The make-or-break one: It MUST be Linux compatible! Windows-only printers are usually crap anyway.

I'm open to suggestions of network printers and all-in-one machines too.

Thanks in advance for your advice! 🙂

I know this does meet your $125 critieria, but how about the Canon i320 printer? It prints Up to 2400 x 1200 dpi, and is decently fast. And the photos are fantastic. And you can buy it for $30! Search i320 in Hot Deals. And Canon has the best cost per page printing costs in the industry.

The only qualm I have with it is that it doesn't use the quad tank design like the 520 + uses. This one only uses two.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I checked google/linux and it looks like there is no Linux driver for it.

EDIT: That's for the i320. I just searched for the i550, and it looks like there is some Linux support for it, but it's not very good.
