I need a new print server

I'm tired of getting hearing "the printer doesn't work!!!!" everytime my fiancee wants to print something, so I'm looking for a better solution. Currently I have a Netgear PS111W wireless print server, but all computers must be in the same workgroup for the software to find the printer. Unfortunately, my fiancee has a laptop issued by her employer so she's on a domain and not on my WORKGROUP workgroup. So for now I have the printer shared through my computer, but for some reason she has to login to a samba share on my computer before she is able to use the printer.

So I'm looking for a new print server (doesn't necessarily have to be wireless since the router is wireless and the printer is 5 feet from the router) which can be accessed by IP address and not by computer name (such as \\PS111W, which works as long as you're on the same workgroup). I'm looking at either a dlink or linksys (although I'm open to other solutions. My current printer is LPT, although I believe there is a USB port I could use if I got a new cable (Samsung ML-1430).

Any suggestions?

EDIT: By enabling the guest account on windows XP would this eliminate the need to connect to a samba share to access the printer?

I doubt very much that another printer server would make a difference.

The printer server must have IP if you are using TCP/IP.

If work allows extra configuration, or and installing small utility this might help.

Configuring a Laptop (or any computer) to connect to more than one Network.

unc path use (i.e \\server\share) is dependant on name resolution, not workgroup. you should be able to resolve \\servername as long as netbois is functional on the LAN. If it's not \\ipaddresss should work.

Agreed. New print server isn't going to fix a resolution issue. A fiance is a man by the way. You said her right? Fiancee or the same spelling with a short wack over the second e for a woman. Might as well be gramatically correct if your going to say it 27 times in a post.

I did some more investigation last night and found that by changing the workgroup on all my computers to the same as hers (I think she's only on a domain when she's connected thru her VPN) I'm able to connect to the print server with \\PS111W\P1 (same as I can do on my computer), but it still prompts me for a username/password. I wonder if enabling the guest account on her laptop would fix this. Unfortunately, the netgear software isn't able to locate the print server from her computer (works on 4 others). I was hoping maybe a newer print server which you can configure via a webpage would solve the problem although from the responses so far it doesn't sound like it.
