Well, My Samsung SGH-X105 kicked the can. I just turned it on and it just displayed a "no sim card" message. Also, it keeps telling me teh phone charging when i am not even charging it. Hmmmm...I tried my sim card in another phone, it did not work. I tried a different sim card in my phone, i still got the same message. While I really did not like this phone, this means I have to spend more money, arghhhh:( Good thing this phone came with a sim card, so i can replace the sim card for free.

Oh well, I looked at some phones and I am gonna choose between these three:

Samsung E105
Samsung E315
Motorola V180

I normally do not like motorola phones (I had to replace the v60 antenna about 10 times), but the phone looks nice.

You guys have any first hand experience with these phones? Went to phonescoop, but i just wanted more feedback.

This phone only lasted me 6 months too.....

It should be covered under warranty then.
Contact your Service Provider.
They'll most likely replace it with a refurbed phone.

sigh, probably. There is this place in Boston though that sells phones with out the plan during the holidays and they do not add $200 to the price like others do, so i may try them.

you think the Motorola V600 is worth $185. That is with no contract, just buying the phone.

Don't know if i can trust teh guy that wants to sell it to me though....
