So I am looking at the droid X as a new phone. My ipod crapped it's little brains out. I took this as a good opportunity to upgrade my phone. Why carry two devices in my pocket when a phone can work as both right? I also don't really have a small camera. I shoot pictures with a DSLR that is just too big to lug around everywhere. Often I have seen a good picture, or a good opportunity, and not had a camera to shoot/film with (my phone camera just isn't worth a danm). Phones do that too these days right?
So what I am looking for is a phone that plays music and takes pictures/video. I text a lot, and currently have a QWRTY keyboard, not having one is almost a deal breaker. I have a few questions about the droid though.
1)How easy is it to add music (nonDRM mp3's) to the droid phones?
2)What software do you use to do this?
2a)Is said software easy to use? Can you make playlists, edit tags, add album art all that fancy stuff?
3)Droid x vs Droid 2, which one sounds like it might fit me better?
EDIT: Something I didn't mention.. I am currently on ATT so I could get an iphone. Obviously they make a great phone/music playing device. I'm a bit leery because it's ATT and the coverage isn't as good as Verizons in my area. There have been a few occasions when I couldn't make a crucial call or access data when people on Verizon were able to. These occasions are burnt into my memory while I am making my purchase decision.
