I need a new motherboard fast. I need help deciding between these two boards:

ABIT AN8 32X
Motherboard


DFI Lanparty UT CFX3200
Motherboard


I am currently not using two video cards but I would like to have the option to use two video cards later. I really need to order the board today. Thanks

You haven't really given any information to help make a choice.
You haven't said what you mainly intend it to be used for, whether you want to overclock & if so just how deep you want to go & also whether you lean towards ATi or nVidia for graphics.

Given that you have an X1800XT an RD580 board (doesn't have to be the DFI) may be the wiser choice.

I'm sorry about that. It will be a gamming rig. I want to have the option to overclock and eventually use two video cards. This is video card that I am planning to use Sapphire ATI X1800XT. I am not partial to any board.

I have been doing some more research since I made this post. The DFI motherboard is out because is much too complicated for me. I have narrowed it down to these two:

ASUS

and

Abit

Given your previous comments you are probably better with an RD580 chipset board which rules out the AN8 32X (great board though it is).
Have you considered the AT8 32X as an alternative to thhe Asus A8R32?
