Looking for a new hobby that won't leave me broke and that can be an on-going project without time constraints. See, I go to school full time year round and work full time. Which leads to about 30min to an hour of my day where I actually have free time. Not really enough time to go out unless it's a day off.

So, any ideas? Computers was/is my current one. Just I spend too much time on the For Sale/Trade section here and I always have something coming in/going out or in the progress of a deal at any given moment. So maybe something that doesn't require all that much thought...something fun :)

Bottlecap Surface Analysis; cheap, easy and not too time-consuming, unless you get down to the bacterial level. Good luck.

Actually, that sounds like something I would do. I managed to take all the science classes my HS had to offer including all the AP classes. Was a Bio major before a Comp Sci ;)

Drawing...hrmm, I know I have troubles drawing a stick figure, but it might be fun to read a few books on it and such.

Oh and thanks for all the advice guys.

Yeah, what can I say...poor student trying to make her way through this expensive world until I graduate and get away from $10 an hour.

My only prob with reading is, I'll get too into a book and not be able to sleep until I finish it. Lol, anyone else like this or do I have some incurable reading disease?

Ooo, I like the sound of painting!

You're a total and incurable freak.

Read comic books. They're short.

Haha, why thank you!

:)

Going with painting since if I try to read I'll end up spending hours upon hours finishing it. Until the next book I pick up...

Yeah, I'm like that. I'll see a book I'd like to read, buy it, then take 2 weeks getting around to actually opening it, and then once I finally do I don't let it go until I've read it all. Keeps me up nights it does.

That's why I recommended comic books. They're short. 10-15 minutes a piece, unless you pick up TPBs, then maybe an hour or so.

Painting is cool though. I've considered playing around with it, but I know I'd be no good. :p

I've actually been up to 6am reading a damn book. I always say "I'll stop after I finish this chapter" then it goes on to the next and the next and so forth.
