I need a new hatsink

Does anyone know of a good after market heatsink for a gigabyte x800 xl video card? It does not have a fan plug and I want to use a fan, any advice?

The zalman vf700 and the vf900 have fan connectors that plug into the mobo. You can use either one of those.

I agree. The artic cooling silencers I've seen are set up to plug into the card, so at a minimum the connector would probably have to be changed.

I've got a VF700 for my 7900 GT and it's great. Dropped my idle temp about 6 degrees C. VF700 is affordable, and I would recommend the all Cu edition (of either 700 or 900), but the 700 at least came with a molex to 3-pin fan adapter that you can plug into there instead of on your motherboard or on the actual card if it has a port. VF700 definitely takes an extra PCI/AGP/PCIe slot, so watch out.
