Well the title really says it all. The fan on my Peltier/Alpha heatsink combo died. What kind should I get insted of it? I have a Celeron 2 566 Oh yeah I bought the peltier combo from Tom Leufkens.

Isn't the delta fan supposed to be the best? I have about $10-15 to spend on the fan for the alpha.

I got my Taisol through http:www.inflowdirect.com - the order went fine, the product made it to me in about a week (great considering I'm in Canada and it had to do the customs thing!) At the time they were one of the few that had the Taisol and it was only $20US. They've got a fair range of separate fans under the 'case fans' section.

So Tepin did U not pay that sucky rip off brokerage fee that UPS charges? Almost equalling the cost of the Taisol. WILL Not using UPS anymore.

Not far as I know...by the time things got converted to Canadian $ it worked out to about $40.00 (original cost $US was 20 (cost+shipping) - not too bad for a quality HSF. I know what you mean about UPS - they're brokerage charges suck, but this time it seemed to come through without too much of a glitch.

I'm just working on a template to adapt a 80mm fan to the 60x80mm heatsink. I've got the speed upped to 1.2 GHz on the chip, but the heat is creeping up a little higher than I want it. Got it done on cardboard now I just have to do the metalwork. I'm always a little leary of putting metal into a computer case but I'm handier with the snips than with plexi! <G>
