I'm currently with Nextel Their service is dropping where I am (Tampa Bay, FL)
I'v looked at verizon and cingular, but damn if they can make their websites any more confusing,

I want a bluetooth phone that I can use to surf the internet with my laptop and PDA (ipaq 4155)

I was looking at the V600 but can't find any carries.

if anyone has opinions, ideas, links, etc please post!

I got the v400 and it's awesome, the only thing the V600 has that the V400 doesn't is bluetooth and the ability to record 15 seconds of video. If you are wondering what service I have it's cingular, also you stated you don't know who carries the V600, well in my area it's cingular and thats in NYC, I would think they carry it everywhere if they carry it here.

According to a recent LATPTOP magazine, Cingular got top marks for data service while Verizon got top marks for voice (though Verizon's data is pretty good too.) Cingular doesn't have the fastest data (just plain ol' GPRS) but theirs was the most reliable, most consistent, and reasonably priced. And for some reason, Cingular's data networks are faster when using non-wap services (i.e. sending emails, viewing pictures etc.) Cingular is only gonna get better with the acquisition of ATTWS and their next-generation 144kbps EDGE network (EDGE compares nicely with Sprint 1xRTT and Verizon's 1xEV.)

Get the V400, its an awesome phone for the price. You can read some user reviews on cnet (they gave it a 7.? but that was because they did not like the way it looks and supposedly it has short battery life, I don't think it does cause I talked for about 3 hours before a recharge is necessary.

v600 is carried by att. Try the nokia 6600, i've used both and i like the nokia a lot better. The v600 does have a little bit more aethetic value to it though.

I'm looking at cingular's web site and they only offer 2 phones??????

I can't even get an unlimited internet data plan just a 2MB one WTF!!
