umm, ok thanks for sharing.....

mbm5 is not hard to use. just go settings/temperatures. then set mbm sensor 1 to your board sensor 1. then mbm sensor 2 to board sensor 2. etc

then apply, and look at the dashboard...

not that difficult

what motherboard are you using/wanting the monitor for?

ECS K7SEM & DURON 800mhz using Thermoengine w/ stock fan and one 80mm fan in a Micro ATX case!:D

MBM5 is very easy once you understand it - but working it out in the first place is a bit weird. Just keep at it.

MBM 5 doesn't seem to work on my motherboard. I set the sensors, but shows 0C.

I need another motherboard monitor. Any suggestions?

Which MBM monitor sensors did you set to which sensor on your motherboard? For exaple, I have sensor 1 set to Via686B-2, which is my cpu temp. (I also am running a KK266.) Besides, ViaHardwareMonitor sucks. Easy to use, but IMO it has a too simple interface and suffers from lack of features.

Alright, I reloaded MBM again and my sensors appeared, seems to be working fine now. 43C CPU 41C case.

DURON 800@900
1.65VCore
Thermo Engine w/ stock fan
2x 80mm Case Fans

Hmm...the ECS K7SEM sensors register a little on the hot side.

Yeah, it must read a little high... my duron 750, at default voltage, same as yours, is currently 36c cpu(about 40 load)/28 system, and you have a better HSF than I do (VolcanoII.)

EDIT: Well, either that, or mine reads low. :)

dont forget though, he might be in a room with very high ambient temp, or have poor case ventilation, hsf isnt the only factor

Thats right! It's friggin hot here in LA! It is 89F right now(730PM)! And also the K7SEM is contained in a Micro ATX case but with good ventilatin (airvents infront and rear) backed up by two 80mm case fans @ 3000rpms.
