I need a monitor...

I've had particularly bad luck with my PiXie 19" monitor. I know lots of people have bought them and had great luck but here's my story.
1.) (40 days after purchasee) - monitor wont turn on, got rma'ed
2.) (about 3 months after that rma) - same thing, won't turn on, rma'ed
3.) (about a month after 2nd rma) - ohhh now the picture is distorted, neat. I call again and they send me a brand new one, the color on it is like looking through muddy watter and the picture is as stable as a bowl of jello. I need to call tomorrow and get ANOTHER new one.

I'm tired of being without a monitor. Whats a nice quality monitor to get? This pixie is a cheapie, I think this time i might go with the idea that quality takes a bit more money. 😉 Say I decide to spend $300-$350, what would you recommend? Any particular vendor that you like? I'd like a trinitron/aperature grille if possible. The pixie is a shadow mask, but I like the crispness of aperature grille better! i guess i should talk more. i have the 955df which is a cheaper version since im ghetto, but anyways,


the 900NF has great flat screen technology, no faint 2 lines, and it has really really high refresh rates.

Let me rephrase that then 🙂 I'd like to spend no more than $350, but what do I need to spend to get a good aperature grille monitor? Refresh rates and high res aren't important as I only use 1024x768 on a 19"

If you looked around you could probably find a Samsung 900NF for $350, check out the hot deals forum. If not then KDS isn't too bad.
