Metal slinkies? Like the spring coiled ones that go down the stairs. But I can't use a plastic one, it's GOT to be a metal one. Anyone know where I can get these in Canada (GTA preferred?)

Need one soon. It's for a physics project of which I asked AT'ers back before here and we've gone with a compound system spring. However we do need some springs to deflect, and a slinky has a nice constant uniform pattern throughout.

They probably stopped making the metal ones because a skillfully tossed metal slinky could blackout an entire neighborhood or more! :Q

Reminder: NEVER toss a (metal) slinky in the air near power lines!

Wow, I never thought of that. Pretty bad actually, but I need one for a good reason, I guess EBay's the only way to go?
