So a got some good suggestions before, but I ran into a power supply/case problem with the dell pc (dimension 9150). Anyone want to suggest a low power and cheap video card? It needs to work with the 375 watt dell power supply, and the hdmi input on the TV.

I was thinking about this card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814500001

Are you looking to do any gaming? If not, one of the HD3400 series cards would probably do the trick nicely, especially since they come with the ATI's UVD.

If you want want native hdmi without the fuss of a dvi-hdmi dongle & Ati's powerplay tech which is very power efficent & disables parts of the gpu when not in use & downclocks in 2d mode then get the MSI R3650-MD512 OC Radeon HD 3650 512MB - $54.99 AR & with Free Witcher PC game:

By the way you never actually said what you need the card for.

The above MSI 3650 is a good HTPC & light gaming card (most games except cysis with high settings @1280x1024 res).

Mostly general browsing and maybe light gaming if the card/cpu supports it. It's a free computer, so i'm not expecting too much from it.

hybrid power/sli/cf
The new gen of IGP from nvidia and ATI have HDMI output, and awesome features like doing SLI/CF with a discreet card should you add one... hybrid power means that the video card is completely off (the fans aren't spinning and power isn't drawn) until you turn it on to run a game (and then it takes over from the IGP to do the graphics).
