OK the problem is that I can't run Lifemapper at full force on a lot of computers at work cause of bandwidth issues... One wu is almost 500kb and jobs are finished fast, under 15min/wu on a fast machine, so one machine could dl almost 50MB a day. Now that's not much, but 5 machines running LM can cause a problem, since the average user only dl about 10 to 20MB a day, me and lifemapper.org clearly stands out above the rest (daily)...
So if anybody is willing to trade a pc or two (I'm honestly only looking for a few), I'll try and match the pc and do any project you want (and I'm able to do). The LM is a simple service install and forget and can cache 200wu...
I know this isn't a very attractive offer, but there's no harm in trying and afterall, it's for the TeAm! 😉 Plz pm me if anyone's interested...
