Hey guys, I am in need of a quick laser printer. It will be used for printing out various documents. Some are 100-150 pages in length and they'll need to be printed kinda quickly, it's for a trial team handling a class action suit.

I'm looking for something reliable, quick, and proven to be a good printer.

Any suggestions?

Ah, you didn't give a price range, but anyway. A lexmark w820 or t634 series would do. 45 ppm, 225,000-250,000 pages per month duty cycle. network versions available.

Dell has some very nice laser printers and so does HP

I have used HP for years with no problems, its the laserjet 1100 with some letter somewhere, maybe a J at the end or something. But, I'd go for the dell laser printer. It has a faster CPU, more memory, and looks better :p

I assume their laser printers are better than their inkjets.

If that is also your price range, here are two options I would reccomend:

Dell S2500
or the same as above with networking
Dell S2500N

Or, an HP printer. I don't have much experience with the ones you are looking at except for some light use at a library, but at home I have a HP laser printer. Linky

Yes, by far, atleast in terms of quality

no need for color? then the HP 2300 series is excellent from my use. I use it for the graphics industry for printing box layouts from quarkxpress and barcodes etc.

I would also recommend either HP or Lexmark.

I've sold and serviced many laser printers, and highly recommend HP & Lexmark.

I got a Samsung ML-1710 for 99 AR and its great. Its small, portable and does 17 ppm (its a black and white printer so deon't expect color but obviously you don't need that).
