Im so sick of this POS Microsnot Sidewinder 3d Pro I got from a friend that im ready to try something new. I'd love to go with a USB product from Saitek...but I dont know what to choose, I really enjoy all the features of THIS joystick...it's just a B*TCH getting the thing to function under the gameport. I play alot of Flight Simulator 2000 and occasionally some X-Wing Alliance - What would be a good joystick for me that isnt gonna break the bank? THANKS!

ok well fair enough mod

as it goes, i have a saitek X8-30 (cheap job)

it works ok with X-Wing Alliance (the game i bought it for). I havent used it since and its just gathering dust. Its a good joystick, so I would be the first to recomment Saitek.
