Try tech support. If you can tell people over the phone how to do stuff on their computer, & have a fair amount of knowledge yourself, you have the basic requirements. Pay is fairly good, probably $10+/hour easy.

Basically get out & start applying. Jobs aren't going to crawl out of your ass if you're sitting on it.

Double check the age you can work. Or how about baby sitting?
You can always try monster.com or some of those other sites....

No!!! Do not get a job right now! Wait until you're in late high school or college, or maybe even AFTER college. Let me tell you, once you start working, you can't leave it. Why? Because once you get money, you want all this stuff, including a car. With a car comes payments that you WORK to pay off. You're young, enjoy life, and use the extra time for studying to make good grades that will pay off for you far much more than what you'll be using your time for working.
When I was about your age, I got a job for the same reason much like you. I wanted my own income and was basically bored, parents didn't force me in anyway, but now I regret it because I missed out on a lot.

He's exactly right. Once you get used to the money, you'll start buying more stuff like a car and then you'll have to work even harder to be able to keep the car. And of course, once you have something, you always want to upgrade it and make it better. I was in your same situation, I've been working since I'm 15. Now, I'm 18, work 2 jobs at about 70 hours a week and take school for 10 hours a week. I get one night off usually. Weird thing is, I have a lot of money, but once you get a bit you always want more. I'm killing myself now, I missed out on a lot in high school, and now I'm trying to make up for it. If you don't have to work, don't. If you really want to, only work 10 hours a week. Any more and your life will start slipping away. That's just from my experience though, from a guy who work 40 hours a week during his High School diplomas. I held a record, which still stands, 8 days straight at 100.5 hours.
