i need a job

I'm a 20 year old college student and notice money is geting tight for me all the while I have aging comps, need to buy a vehicle, and would just like to have some cash around. Hence I need to find mself a job. I dont realy want to work retail however as I am shy I cant realy deal with customers and I would like to work someplace that deals with computers 😉 I'm mostly a hardware type guy. I've done pc repair before but that was volunter work were we fixed up old systems for people that couldnt aford to buy new computers. Other then that I have dabed around in other areas like web doing hosting, site design, php scripting. I've also done stuff like networking computers together and playing around with linux. So anyways thought I would post this here and see if anyone has any ideas for me to look into.

Get a job anywhere so you at least have a job. Then look for the right job.

check your campus job postings...most of the time u can find a positing for a lab tech sorta job...

thanks I'll check into that and that also made me think of checking the career center database. I think most of the stuff in its is volunteer work but its still worth checking out.

you could probably find a cushy job where you don't have to do much and get paid well on campus. they usually have openings in the tech/computer area.
