Here are a couple of suggestions for websites where you can find local staffing companies which may be able to help you:

Florida Staffing Services Association
Dice.com Recruiter Directory

You can search the first site for staffing companies in the Miami area which deal with technical positions, and dice.com will give you general Florida companies (their site goes down occasionally but it's really a great resouce). I suggest Manpower and Kelly Services, those are both very large national firms with an excellent reputation. You may need to start out as a temp, but most companies these days recruit on a temp-to-hire basis for entry level people.

I hope this helps! Good luck.

If you type our your resume all in caps like you do your thread titles I can see why you're having trouble.

Hey, someone had to say it...

Now that that's out of the way - you might try posting your resume here and letting us group-edit it and give you feedback, a resume is pretty key. If you hand in a resume to a potential employer, call them back in a week's time and inquire about it confidently - don't say anything like "I really need the money" obviously. ;) The personal touch and the idea of following through like this really helps sell you to a potential employer.

What else...well, at your age your biggest problem is that you have general computer literacy but nothing explicityly marketable. Figure out some of the big ticket items right now and become a pro ASAP - PHP/ASP coding and databases, XML, etc. are some fields you could try. Some help desk/customer support experience is also pretty good to round out your personable skills. Hmm, that's all I can think of right now, but good luck.
