Pretty sure there is a nice Marriot in Foster City. Pretty close to the track too. Load area code 94404 into your location in Yahoo and do a yellow page search for "hotel" or "Marriot". There's probably a few others as well, lots by S.F. airport.

You could stay at my house... well ok not really. I'm like 10 min. away from Belmont Park, but I don't really know what hotel to recommend, since I don't quite need to stay in one near here.

One suggestion - The Garden City Hotel would be a cool place to stay, but it's likely going to be in the couple hundred dollar range.

Give me an address for it and I'll tell you.

If you want just a place to stay, minus any nightlife going on, the Floral Park Motor Lodge should be a decent choice. It's close to the Cross Island, which is what you'd take to get to Belmont anyways.

Theres like 10 of us coming and we will want to do something at night. We could always head to manhattan I guess. We just need a place to stay near the track that isnt a dump but isnt the ritz. know what I mean?

That area is somewhat shady, but would be fine to stay if you're in cars and driving most of the time. It's about a 20-25 min. drive away from Belmont tho'.
