Basically as the title says, i need a gun....a pistol. Not a gun that fires actual bullets, mind you, but a movie gun. No need for it to shoot bb's, plastic or otherwise. I need a place that sells replica modern day pistols that will ship to NY state (not NYC). Online or local is good.

Also, where do movie studios obtain all their realistic weaponary?....Can't seem to find prop shops that carry this type of stuff.

you can buy airsoft guns from Japan or Korea that looks like the real thing

it doesn't have the tips painted orange either
but i think when you bring em back here you'd have to have it painted.

maybe you can have it shipped ?

Movie studios use real guns provided by companies that specialize in providing such weapons to the movie business. They are provided on a rental basis, and large numbers of weapons can be provided for just a few days if needed.

Some of the guns have their firing pins removed for use as props, others have blank-firing adapters installed so they can properly fire blanks.
