I need a great Non Monthly fee MMORPG

As the title says, im looking for a really good mmorpg. Something that is monthly fee free and has lots of people on it.

I remember back in the day when the rpgs came out for the nintendo and they were alot of fun. I would play them for hours, but then again, that was sword of vermillion.

I agree. MUD's are the only *true* computer RPG's imo. There are many of them, and can offer thousands of hours of enjoyment, fighting monsters and making friends. And best of all they are completely free.

The problem is they can offer thousands of hours of enjoyment, fighting monsters and making friends at no cost.

If you're in college, high school or unemployed, I'd strongly suggest not trying MUD.
