I have a website/email server at home on a linux box along with a game server for an online multiplayer game that I have running 24/7
The game averages abotu 750 Bps per player. With 50 players online I am looking at around 100GB per month, I don't think my ISP (Cable Company) would like that. Right now I have my server capped at 15 players. What I need is a reliable company that offers some kind of hosting in the neighborhood of 50 to 100GB of bandwidth per month... This will eliminate my problems of slow inet speed at home and worrying about getting shutdown.
I looked at a couple but they are asking for $100 per month... I simply cannot afford that. I think the absolute highest I can pay is $50 per month... Although I'm not sure I can find one that cheap. Anyone know of something close to what I am looking for?
