I have a 5-8 page (double spaced) english essay on explicating a poem. I dont know anything about poetry (ie ive never read any). We choose the poem. Ive been looking through the packet my teacher gave me and I didnt really see anything good. Anybody know of any really good poems? (not too simple and not too complex)

Mr. Flood's Party. I explicated it last week; plenty of obvious symbolism to drag on and on and on...

ee cummings, oh no. For some reason I can't get into that poetry. On the bright side, I can id who wrote that so maybe that's a sign I know enough to get an A in my English class. :D
