I need a good N router with a replaceable antenna.

I just got a thinkpad T61 with wireless N in it. I have a netgear wgr614 which is g and doesn't have a removable antenna. I want to put my Hawking Tech high gain antenna on a router so I need to upgrade to one with a removable antenna. I figured since I have N in my laptop it's type to go with an N router. Any suggestions?

The Draft N Antennae are different from the regular Antennae (actually, most of the N hype is due to the special Antenna arrangement).

So unless your Hawking is a special Draft N Antenna it is No go.

BTW everyone looks forward to the 802,1nn Not realizing that it going to be a costly affair when solutions that are different than As sis out of the box would be needed. Any upgrade concerning Antennae, Bridging etc. would be a costly mess.

If you upgrade to an N router you'll have 2 or 3 antennas on the new router. You'd need to replace each of those antennas with the same new antenna -- so you'd be looking at purchasing 1-2 more of the high-gain antennas from Hawking.
