Ok I'm going to go to wally world in a little while to find stuff for supper. I feel like cooking something tonight but it needs to be cheap and easy to fix. Any suggestions?

If I can't find anything I think I'm just going to go with steaks and scrambled eggs, but I'd like to actually cook something.

Is curry easy to make? And what would be a good recipe for it and can all of the ingrediants be found at walmart?

Bake/grill a chicken boob, throw it over a bed of crushed tortilla chips (or doritos) take a couple scoops of sour cream and some salsa, stir it up in a bowl, and throw it on top.

... the man wants a meal, not a snack!
Go with burgers! Walmart has a box of frozen meat you can get (12$ for 24 patties?) Grill em or pan fry em with some BBQ sauce, salt, pepper, (and something Spicy if you like that).

Its a winner every time

Get four boneless chicken breasts, 1 lipton onion soup package and a small jar of apricot jam. Preheat oven to 350, mixed soup package and jam in a mixing bowl. Dip chicken in the mix then lay in a pan, you can cover the chicken with the leftover mix if desired. Cook for an hour and serve with those single serving green beans/corn/carrots cans from Lamont.

my current favorite:

6 pack of drumsticks ~$2
pack of buffalo wings seasoning ~$1.50

the pack of seasoning is good for ~12 drumsticks, so buy two packs of chicken and you have about 4 servings (of 3 drumsticks) for less than $6

I say drumsticks over wings because they are are better price/lb (and you get less bones and more meat)

figure out how to make the seasoning yourself and it'd be even cheaper.

I posted this once before and a few days later, the member PMed me to say it was really good.

Take some chix breast and dredge lightly thru flour. Brown quickly in a little bit of oil and remove from pan. add chopped onion, sliced mushroom and garlic to pan and soften. add some chick stock and a little bit of lemon juice. put chix back in pan, simmer low until sauce thickens and serve over hot buttered noodles.

:)

How do I cook them?

4 Chicken breasts.
2 Cups of buttermilk.
2 Cups crushed corn flakes or cracker crumbs
Dash of garlic powder/onion powder.

Heat oven to 375*
Dip chicken in buttermilke, then coat in corn flakes or cracker crumbs, sprinkle on garlic/onion powder and salt/pepper.
Heat for 45/50 minutes

Simple to do...then just throw together a salad while it heats. :)

i actually made something JUST like this 15 minutes ago.

take chicken, cut up, not boneless (for this recipe at least)

pour onion soup mix over it
then pour 8oz french dressing on it
then a can of ocean spray whole berry cranberry sauce

cook 350 for 1 hour 15 minutes

delicious!

I steamed some broccoli and boiled a boneless skinless chicken breast for dinner.

Just put some fresh squeezed lemon juice, ginger and garlic and a dash of hot pepper in the water and boil for 30 minutes (they were frozen).

Rice, and frozen vegetables (incredibly inexpensive).

If you're dying for a bit of protein, add precooked chicken.

Walmart has those hot chicken wings, but they are kind of pricey at 8.50 a bag. I usually buy lunch meat and bread and eat sandwiches.
