I am building a budget computer for someone and need a beige case that is well built. I have used the slk1600 from antec in the past but that is hard to come by. Is there a model out there that is the same price point as the slk1600? Around 50 -55 delivered? Also the same quality build? I really like antec. I can't find it for under 65 now except one place and they only have two and others had it but can't get it any more. HELP>

Well, if you're using a matx board w/ integrated video, as you should be for any truly budget build, then the matx inwins are a good buy, simply because of the quality construction and decent psu's....

You can get the SLK3000-B for ~$50 shipped from Amazon or Provantage...

You can also get the Skyhowk aluminum case in the MSR series from dealsonic for ~$50 shipped ground.

But neither of those come with a PSU and one is black and the other is silver.

Hard to find good cases with GOOD PSUs for that price though. But the Compucase 6A19 from directron (with HEC PSU) is one that comes to mind. And some of the Athenatech cases come with the Sparkle budget line of PSUs (Power Q or something like that). AOpen and Inwin are other good places to look for decent cases with PSU - most of their PSUs are also relabeled FSP/Sparkle units.
. If you aren't very risk-averse, dumpinggoods.com is another site to try. Good luck.

They've replaced it with SLK1650/SLK1650B, which adds TAC stuff for hot Intels...

Thermaltake Tsunami. It's on sale at Newegg for $105 with free 3-day shipping. It's the best case money can buy.

a chieftec dragon should be ~$50 and they are a copy of one of the most popular antec cases made I believe. (or antec copied them, the hell if I know, maybe it was just cross distribution).
