I need a front audio 5.25 solution... suggestions?

I dont want to have to buy a platinum to get it... so does anyone make a solution for what i want? If so, which one should I get? I need front audio, and my case sucks...

you could get a audigy two or x-fi than route some cables thru the inside of your case to the 5.25 bay cut some holes in the bezel that than put some audio sockets or w/e there it would basically look like an audio bay not as good looking as that but ya. what case do you have? just wondering there could be many ways you could do this.

I guess its not junk... but the front audio panel is something i want for a few reasons. 1 being just the useability for it. My box sits in a cabinet... so i want to have free reign of my headphones. 2 the looks 3. i want control over the rig in the front.

Im not sure if that is acceptable... maybe i just need to buy a speaker setup and hook the headphones and mic up to them... i dont know.

why dont you use the front ones on your case if you want better sound than use those same jacks with your new sound card and if you want to control do you mean change volume settings and stuff do that from software. obviously you dont care about looks the thing is bright yellow all azn'd out and sh!t got some clear window with some lights and some fans with some led's and a z in the front.

http://www.frontx.com has a very flexible solution, but there are plenty of fixed-design front panels that are very useful as well. The Sunbeam multi-function front panel is also sold under the Logisys name and often for less money.

what soundcard do you have? I am not sure if tou can connect any panel to any soundcard
