I need a free anti-virus program for Linux

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good and free AV program for Linux. Currently I don't use anything, but I'd like to put something on there. I use AVG on my Windows boxes, but there is no Linux version of that.

Why do you need antivirus for linux? Just keep all your software patched and you should be fine.

There are no linux viruses going around right now, and there have been probably few enough to count on one hand in the past. Knowing what you're doing is about a billion times more important than AV software ever will be.
