I need a driver.... I guess....

Long story short, My DVD/CD-R combo drive isn't completely recognized on my PC. It only recognizes the DVD/CD portion. Apparently, there is no driver installed for it and I can't find it on the net. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks guys

PS. The funny thing is that since the driver for the CDR isn't recognized, NERO won't burn me anything. But when I burn through Windows, it burns fine. (I just want to be able to burn on NERO)

You don't need a driver, only for Dos.
Windows recognises it and it's installed.
You may need an update from Nero to recognise your drive, check their sight for an update.
Usually Nero updates when new drives come out.
If not try reinstalling Nero and selecting your drive after you install the sofware when you first start Nero.

Have you tried any other CD burning programs?

If windows will let it burn, the the CD buring part is definitely working - it's got to be a problem with the verison of Nero you are using. Try a different program, if you'd rather not use Nero. There's loads of them.
