i am almost done with my first touchscreen mp3 jukebox that controls music in my garage/back patio.. and am looking to plan my next project for the living room.

for this project, I need to wirelessly transmit mp3s from my laptop to my Onkyo home tuner. The tuner will probably only be max 25' away from the laptop with no walls between (only the wood from the armoire in which the tuner sits). I don't want to use an FM tuner b/c I've had 0 luck with several.

what quality media extenders/music transmitters/receivers have you guys used & recommend?

thanks,
rp.

thanks.. i already have a similar netgear that works over Wifi.. but I'm worried that my 'net traffic will interfere with streaming music..

but, I guess, in all actuality, if I'm streaming music, I probably WON"T be in front of a PC downloading torrents :p

EDIT.. anyone have experience with bluetooth devices? I've seen BT receivers, but i'm unfamiliar if I just need a USB BT adapter to send music or what..

If your router has QoS support, you could use that, or set up a schedule on your bt client to determine what hours it has access to full bandwidth and limit it during other hours.
