I need a decent flash memory

I know this is probably weird asking about flash memories on the forums but I've had alot of bad experience with um.

1 GB is enough for me, but I want it to be fast.
no 6mbs kingstons.

personally i like sandisk's flash drives, they seem plenty fast for me, go the 4gb cruser micro free so couldnt past that up.
would have been retail about $90 cnd about 4-6 months ago

hmm..I haven't tried sandisk.
maybe I'll check it out.

BTW, how can I protect my flash from viruses?
I know this is a security question...

my old flash has turned write protected. very annoying.
I'm assuming that's a virus of course. kaspersky doesn't detect anything though.

Corsair Survivor and the next model down (can't remember the name at the mo) seem to be about the fastest at the moment.
