I was suppose to take a biology test last Friday but because of the incident, we were able to opt out and take it tomorrow instead. Yet with one whole extra week to study (I'm behind 5 chapters), I'm still sitting here typing this up. Damn it. Is there ANYWAY to cure such procrastination? How about self-hypnosis? :)

btw, I know someone is gonna make a joke about "chronic masterbation." I just wanna say you r gay in advance :p

Chronic procrastination? You don't have to worry about that right now....wait until a more convenient time. You also may have Alzheimer's; but just go home and forget about it.

Whats worked for me is agreeing with your self that the work needs to be done. Its like a fight going on in your head, beat down the procrastination before it KILLS YOU!

Sell computer, TV and radio. Try to use electricity and cars as little as possible. Go to bed by 9:00pm. Wake up at 5:00am. Smile!

No, not really . . . what is on your mind? Could be a reason . . .

:)

Anyway, seriously now . . . just make it a new habit (no not THAT habit) to do things immediately. Priortize (make a list if you must) and tackle one thing at a time in order of importance. It means making a schedule and sticking to it without distraction.

No one said it will be easy. This is a really difficult thing to tackle but it can be done if you make up your mind. Good luck!

Go to the library and study. Point is, go somewhere far away from where you are right now. Go into a room with only a desk, chair, and your books. With no temptation around, you may find it easier to lock down on your studies.

Or maybe not. Watch TV and study during the commercials!

what do u think most of us who are students are doing right now, PROCRASTINATION! you are not alone, buddy. let's form a support group. maybe we can get government funding. At least I can, i am Canadian. we get money for whatever we want here.

I've tried that library idea... and it doesn't work...
library = no distraction... that's for sure.
but no distraction = sleep time.
so you need to create and incentive for you to study. An incentive that overcomes your need to procrastinate...

so when you find that incentive, TELL ME!!! RIGHT AWAY!!!!

i find that i will always procrastenate the most when i am tired. If i have homework i needa do, i have to get 8+ hours sleep, otherwise i'll always blank. GET MORE SLEEP... like from 11-8 sorta deal
