Asus A7N266-VM.

If you're feeling lucky, a refurb A7N8X Deluxe @ newegg.

Both about 65 bucks. :)

Great board, very stable.

I'm also very pleased with the BioStar M7VIG PRO that's in my backup server. I have it crunching Climate Prediction 24/7 in addition to performing its backup duties and I just can't crash it. :)

my personal experience with the Asus A7N266-VM has been very good, most all reports I have seen say the Shuttle AN35N Ultra 400 is a solid board.
I've had a number of the ECS boards, still have 2 of them, but it's getting to be a bit long in the tooth now.

I agree the ecs boards had their day in the sun. I am still running a k7s5a (not pro) and it's still a good board, but nowadays there are a lot of other options that can give a lot better performance to those that are budget minded, like kt600 or nforce 400 boards.

It does not look like ECS is through by any means - in fact - they are moving up - with the "photon" series. Have a look at the new Athlon 64 VIA KT8-800 board.

ECS/KT8T800

Ther is also an ECS SIS746 board for $52.00. If you dont want or need overclocking options, there is a nice new KT60o mATX ECS KT600 here ($67.00)

Newegg/ECS KT600

Personally. I would get the Shuttle AN35-N
