i need a case and am willing to spend around 50 bucks. This is the motherboard that needs to be able to fit in it ((Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. (Gigabyte) 8IPE1000-G/L )) and its gonna be about 2 GB ram, a 2.8 intel 4 proccessor about 80GB harddrive and a radeon x1300 video card so it should have enough cooling for all of these. it can be with or w/o a power supply just plz get back to me with the best choice maybe off of buy.com or newegg or a similar site. thanks so much!

I usually recommend either the Rosewill R5600 series or the R6A series as they are about the best you can get in that price range. The R6A is also available in the HEC/Compucase brand. Here is my review that cover all versions of the 5600 series and mentions the R6A series:

I don't think that any other of the Rosewill models (unless they slipped something new in while I wasn't watching) are up to the level of those two and few of any other brand.

I agree w/Zepper.
There's also the Rosewill RZ series that Zep failed to mention that's on sale @ Newegg for $38.99 shipped.
Here's the link.
Come to think of it, perhaps Zep didn't mention it for a reason...hehehe.

The RZS is strictly for those looking for a compact case that will hold standard ATX size mobo and PSU, not for anyone that doesn't need the compactness. Both the R6A series and the R5600 have at least a 4.5 Casitude (tm) score (of 5 possible) so the performance will be nearly identical. The R5600 has more card room (11" measured) and generally a longer features list. They also have more room behind the door (some of the R6A series don't have doors) for items that protrude like fan controller knobs, etc., but not deep enough for some items that really stick out like the Silverstone MS05 drive bay.

Oh, and the Cooler Master Mystique 631 that I have for sale in the For Sale/Trade section (link below) is also a nice case. Hard to get a mostly aluminum case for under $100. with all the features it has. Get a nice PSU for cheap with it and probably no extra shipping cost.

Sure and you can always tweak the cooling with different fans - the ones that came with my 5604 were pretty good, but I swapped them out anyway as I already had some great fans on hand - you can't expect to get really great fans for free with a case (at least in that price range). Also I've been editing my earlier post, so check that again while you're at it.

Oh, and you might want to check into the C-M 690 or 590. Also nice cases for the money.
