Condensation would be a problem.

There are sprays to help with the problem, but not worth the hassle IMO
Are you trying to OC, or just experiment?

i can oc my venice to 2.9 on stock cooling but the temps are killing it....so its on 2.4 right now. i was thinking of gettin a big typhoon after christmas....but i was just curious because i jsut read and people have done it and with a 1 ghz oc they had -13 degrees celcius. i wanted to try it. guys just give me some pointers on if its a good idea at all...

I learned that condensation would form on the cooler surface. Since the computer parts would be the warm surface, I don't see how it would be an issue.

update: i just seen an air conditioner that fits into a cd-rom bay for pc on ebay. its 25 bucks and it says the fan in it blows 100 cfm. can someone explain how that would work. i mean how does an a/c work in a pc? and also if thats a good solution for cooling. thanks

If you're that obsessed with chilling your computer, earn or try to get your parents to drop $500 on a vapochill unit. It's made for the PC, so you don't have to worry about condensation.

I'd love 1 of those for my room in the summer... But serioulsy dont waste ur time on refridging ur pc. Buy that vapochill, or buy a mid-level WC setup and put the radiator in the fridge.

thanks guys i wasnt going to do it anyway because my dad said its only going to ruin both my pc and the fridge most likely. ill just replace my modded power supply fans in my case with real case fans with good cfm and low noise. ill also buy a big typhoon. that should be able to fight the heat. thanks. happy holidays.

It's not an air conditioner, it's just a fan. I had one. No idea if it helped my temperatures much, but the air it exhausted was certainly warm, and it was fairly quiet at low speeds. It developed a rather irritating whine at useful speeds, though. I can't imagine that it would make any difference at all for a case with decent airflow.

It's prolly a TEC cooler, or just a bag fan. Save your money, a 100 cfm fan in the front of your computer is going to make a LOT of noise.
