ok. sry my first post is something you guys probably get every day, but i'd appreciate help in deciding between these 2 desktops or one someone suggests.
There's a sony outlet next door and they are running a VGC-RC110G for about $630. It has a Pentium D 830 (3ghz), 1 Gb DDR2, 250 GB SATA, ATI Radeon X300, ( i know that card is nothing special and thats what leads me to my other choice)
...or would the Velocity Micro Gamer's Edge 1000 be a better choice. It's more expensive but I think I'd be better off just buying a new video card for the vaio's x16 PCI slot.
Honestly I just want to make over 100fps in quake4...let me know if I'm way off.
