Ok my mobo on my dell is fried, and dell wants $250 for a replacement motherboard.... i've seen some floating around for 30 bucks or so but I don't know if it'll fit in the btx case and the oddness that is dell hardware configuration...

Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm just going for compatibility so I can get this system running again, nothing too fancy... unless the price is right, I mean its kinda a dead standard..

Amazon.com has an Intel BLKDG965PZMKR pico btx form factor board for $75 that should fit the Dell case. The 965 is the last chipset made on btx boards; check Intel's cpu support for this board. It should work with your old pentium or 1066 core2 duo cpus. I found the link using yahoo: "btx 965 motherboard" search. It's about the 4th section down "picobtx motherboard; yahoo shopping".
