I need a bolt-thru kit.

The only thing I do not like about my OCZ Vendetta 2 is its push pin assembly. Today, during casual computing, I noticed that my idle temps were 10c higher (making it about 38c or so). Before taking the side of my case off, I looked to see if maybe I'd left my voltage on auto, which would give me some high temps. Nope.

So, took the side panel off, and yup, low and behold, one of the push pins had slowly worked its way out. It's hard to get it to snap all the way in, since A LOT of pressure is needed, and it bows the mobo quite badly. I've since pushed it back in, but I think it has worked itself back out again.

Could somebody point me in the direction of a bolt-thru kit that's compatible with my heatsink? Please and thanks.

Listen to "Woobycon" and Mwing: they've got THE answer.

Meanwhile, until your "bolt-thru kit" arrives,
try the short-term solution described here:

Intel must be very unhappy with me at present,
but the problem with their "push pins" has been
confirmed experimentally, and lying is just not ethical.
