Sup all, Case is listed in my Sig, has 7x80mm fans... not one 120mm..grr might mod the top one to fit one.... thats a good idea....anyway, I want some HIGH cfm, noise is a factor obviously but I want a few QUALITY fans.

Don't care about LED, either way, (unless anyone knows of a black light Fan :)

Thanks for any suggestions

This Panaflo is very good and very cheap at SVC. Loud at nearly 40 dBA, but at nearly 50CFM it's a very high-flowing 80mm

If you want a high-flowing fan at a decent noise level, see this 38CFM, 32dBA Panaflo.

At SVC the prices are better, but if you don't want to add the connectors yourself (Panaflos come with bare wires), you can buy them from FrozenCPU.com and pay $1.50 for a connector to be added by them.

Now, if the two aforementioned fans don't satisfy yout CFM needs (and IDK why they wouldn't), then there is this 80*38mm Vantec Tornado that pulls 85CFM at a suprelemy loud 55.2 dBA.

Another thing to consider is adding an 80-120mm fan adaptor and using a 120mm fan if it will fit. I'm considering this for my Wave Master, as it has no 120mm fan holes either

Unless you really need 60+ CFM from an 80mm fan, I wouldn't go with Delta fans, as panaflos offer the same (if not better) performance at a much lower price, esp. if you buy from SVC, where a 50 CFM Panaflo can be had for $4.

IMO, if you're going to buy that many fans, might as well spend it on a case with 120 mm fans.

Agreed...see if you can find a buyer for your Xaser, then you can buy a new case to start from, with 120mm fan holes so 2 - 4 fans will equal the 7 you have in there right now...not to mention they'll be quieter (unless you decide to go hardcore with some 200CFM Deltas ;) )

Lol, at 65 dBA, that thing will give some vacuum cleaners a run for their money in the noise department

You wont need to buy a car... just fly your case to work!

Ah, but then you're risking a lot assuming your fan won't fail. See, if it does, you risk death or serious injury, not to mention a broken 7900GTX ;)

I remember when people thought it was a good idea to strap a Delta on their Socket A heatsinks - then we all realized the unholy amount of noise they made :p....

hrm.. thats not to bad of an idea.. except I like the looks of this case, it's HUGEMONGOUS (dont correct spelling :p lol) and sturdy as hell. I got it for an awesome $55 bucks so I'm ok with spending a few on fans, I probably only need a few.. I wonder even what kind of fans they are...7 orange puppies...you can feel the air, but they are crap... I wonder how many cfm.. but It's not that bad in the case.. ambient at around 30c-31c avg. gets down to 26c when my AC goes on 3ft away :p but I think I can do better... check out pics for it and tell me where I should put the ones i GET

Yate Loons are pretty good at $4.95 for 120mm/80mm on eBay. Cheaper shipping when buying in quantity and super quiet.
