Any pizza that has a commercial is probably not worth eating.

Has anyone actually had a Papa Johns pizza lately? I thought it'd be decent just cause they pride themselves on freshness and better ingredients... we were literally shocked at how bad it was. Worse than Pizza Hut even.

I don't really like Papa John's and I think I'm alone amongst the people I know. Their crust tastes burned to me. Then again none of the delivery places are that great... I had Toppers once, it was pretty good, but Dominos and Pizza Hut are pretty mediocre.

Oh well I prefer Papa Murphy's now, you get way more pizza than any delivery place and it costs half as much. And it takes the same amount of time, only difference is you use your own oven. I like having enough food to last 2-3 days for less than $10. Whereas if you buy a large pizza from Pizza Hut or something you'll pay $10, plus $2.50 delivery fee, plus a tip for the driver.

I don't like Papa Johns either. Something they put on it upsets my stomach every single time. Think it's in the sauce.

I also don't like Papa Murphy's. I don't know what it is, but their toppings don't taste good. And it takes way longer than ordering. My best scenario is preheating the oven before I leave, go get the pizza, takes like 5 minutes in the store, then bring it home and bake for like 15.

If I order, I call it in, wait 5 minutes, drive to pick it up. By the time I get there (roughly the same distance as my Papa Murphy's) its done and I bring it home. I stopped doing delivery altogether. Not only because of the delivery fee and tip, but the timing. Delivery takes like 45-60 minutes. Pickup takes like 15.

Worst commercial ever. Doubly so because Geico usually doesn't make bad commercials.

TV commercials now show you how detergents take out bloodstains, a pretty violent image there. I think if you've got a T-shirt with a huge bloodstain all over it, maybe laundry isn't your biggest problem.

I get blood on my Gis and rash guards here and there, usually mine. And none of the liquid detergents I've tried, do a good job of getting it out if you just add it to the dispenser. You have to treat the stains first, then wash them.

And I do train with guys that wear Ts sometimes, and blood ends up on them on occasion. I kind of appreciate that they market to me though. Why the blood? We have tatami style mats and they can cheese grater you if you are not careful. A bloody nose is not all that uncommon either. Just sayin'.

My dad is a runner and he's told me about the horrors of nipple chafing. You can actually buy specially designed pads to cover your nips. If you ever go to a marathon you'll see people with bloody streaks running down their chest. Kinda gross.

Fuck all chain pizza. Dominoes is banned, pizzahut near me under cooks pies, Papa johns is passable, but seriously, I have 2 mom n pop go -tos that I get before either of those. Only if I'm feeling the grease will I get the hut, and only if I want the pepperoncinis will I get PJ's.

$12 18" cheese pies, $1 toppings, so a pepperoni bacon with double cheese (the heart attack) is only $15 and feeds 4 hungry drunk fat guys. Plus an actual italian family owns it who have been in the same spot since the 70's. The pizza is incredible.
