Wait for the Alpha 4C.

It's gonna be slower and less useful, but at least you'll get mid-engined snap over steer!

All for roughly the same price!

But carbon tub.

The rumored Z07 pricing is more than I really want to spend. I may trade in the Shelby, but I really want both. Ugh.

The Base and mid level C7's are scorchers anyways. Hop in one and don't look back.

There is no real reason not to get one... Personally I'm waiting to see what the new mustang looks like before I make my decision. You can buy a early C6 Z06 for around ~40k right now too... so that's always an option. There are just too many good choices lol...

The more I think about it, the more I think I don't need 3 cars. I will have had the Shelby over a year by the time an order could reasonably be completed..... I've been known to swap at 13 months before.

Yeah . . . need . . . You knew you were going to get nothing but "shut up and buy one" when you came here you cheeky bastard. Now buy one.

The real question is, which color?

That would really be the only question.... I'm not sure yet. I like green. What I meant abut not needing 3, I'm thinking of selling the other.

If you don't feel you need 3 cars, I will gladly "hold on to" your Cobra for you. I'll even take over insurance premiums AND put it in my name.

The things us garage guys will do for each other...

Just bought an S4 a 8 months ago.And I'm with you the new C7 is absolutely perfect now that they have improved the luxury/interior/seating. Quite frankly I'm pretty sure I'll wait 1.5 years and then place a custom order and drop the audi.

The new C7 is just too nice. Will wait and see what happens though in the next year. The new s4, mustang, m3, and a few other cars will either be released or we will know specs. you would think every maker is going to have to kick it up a few notches thanks to Chevy and the new corvette. It's really an impressive car and I can't wait to see what headers/cammed c7 looks like.

Ok, I've pretty much decided I'm going to. Dealers aren't being stupid with the price, and my GT500 has lost very little value over the last year, so it won't even be a high cost.

I assume you are going mn7? If not may want to wait a year - supposedly new tranny is coming for the automatic.

Either way I want to wait a bit and I think i'll b ordering a vert on this car for once. performance is strong enough with the vert for me and the Laguana blue looks so nice.

Yes, manual. Rev matching is going to be interesting for the track.

I've heard good things about it. I have to say it's going to be tough to wait 1.5 years to order. BUt I can't unload an s4 that quickly. Year that extra 6-9 months to reach a decent loss in value/trade in.

Plus I'm very curious to see what the next gen is for BMW, Audi, Ford.
