I mountain biked 4600 vertical feet today.

Of course, it was all downhill. Mountain biking is a lot easier when there's a chairlift to take you to the top of the mountain. That's not to say you can't get tired riding all downhill, I made one more run than I should have... I was too tired, I ended up crashing several times on that last run because my body jsut couldn't do exactly what I wanted anymore. Now I get to buy a new shifter and my knee is going to be bruised for a while.

Still, mountain biknig at northstar (at tahoe) is awesome. .I'll go back next season with kneepads so that I can walk afterward.

There's no way you could ride up the trails I was riding down at northstar today. I guess you could take a fire road or something to the top of the mountain, but why bother when the chairlift will take you? 😛
 
DH mountain biking owns
it's a chore on my aluminum hardtail, but still sooo much fun.

last downhill I rode was Mt. Tremblant Quebec a couple years ago 🙂
