I missed the shark bite thing on Discovery tonight..

Yeah on the commercials the guy who gets bitten is bragging that sharks will not bite people. So this is going to be funny and gruesome all in one show

yea it was like three seconds worth of video. The part where they pulled the doctor out of the water was pretty gruesome though. Nothing is more revolting then seeing skin that shredded.

They are going into great detail to reproduce the attack . Pretty cool.

 

I'm watching it at the moment. I don't know, but I wanna see it and don't want to. It's disturbing. The only thing that sustained me was the demeanour of the victim. The lady who was a victim has been calm so far. I'm not even sure if she lost her leg and has artificial leg 'cuz she just seems normal.

I'm scared. . . . I haven't seen the male victim yet. Back to the show. . . .

It was pretty sad.. i was expecting more in depth, scientific study of the shark bite..

I watched about a 1/2 hour of that show last night before I got tired and went to bed. The video they kept replaying was freaky but not exactly "graphic".

they aimed to catch a different audience with the whole shark bite footage thing that wouldnt understand the science.

i only watched the bit footage at the start. For some reason i just needed to see a dumbass standing in water with about 30 8 foot bull sharks swimming around and one deciding to eat his calf muscle.

"come on in, the water is fine, and never mind these sharks they wont bother you if you dont bother them" yaaa ummmmm ok buddy... Ill just stay right here on this rock. when the water turns pink ill call somebody to come help you.

The rest was boring and kinda stupid.
